Sometimes a picture says it all. A great jean. The waistband is awesome-super stretchy elastic allows the baby to grow in comfort and you to allow that growth in comfort and style. An updated flared leg, a little narrower through the knee, makes this the ideal jean to wear over boots or heels.
Beyond the Bump? The truth? For a while yes, and later, maybe not, although a surprising number of people have popped into the shop recently with 6-12 month olds, who totally totally totally do not need to be wearing their maternity jeans anymore, and flashed us their waistband (completely covered by a top) and said, basically, they look good, no one sees the waist, and they are crazy comfortable, so....up to you!
Sizing Stuff: General consensus is that these run pretty true, erring on the side of caution if you are between sizes (go larger). Said with the disclaimer-it's denim, it's going to relax with you a little, do not buy it too big and get saggy butt syndrome.
